Welcome to the Activity Center. As part of the municipality's work rehabilitation efforts, we are here for citizens with experiences of mental illness and/or addiction who need support to achieve their goals in work, studies, employment, and social life. At the Activity Center, there are many different roles, but what they have in common is the focus on the participant's needs and the perspective that the participant is the expert in their own life, and that development occurs in meetings and collaboration with others. We are now looking for a new colleague as one of our job consultants has moved on to a new role within the unit.

Your responsibilities

As a job consultant, you will work based on the methods IPS and SEd, Individualized Support for Work and Studies. The focus is on the participant's own will and motivation to have an internship, study, or eventually gain employment. Participants receiving support at the Activity Center do not always have the goal of employment but still want to find internships or studies that provide recovery, social context, and a sense of contribution and development. As a job consultant, you will also focus on building good relationships with employers and study places to establish secure contacts and networks. An important part is also collaboration with healthcare, housing support, the social insurance agency, the employment agency, financial support, and others in the participant's network for sustainable planning based on the participant's needs.
You will collaborate with our own group activities and our own work activities to offer further support when the participant is ready. You will participate in regular IPS meetings, supervision, and collaboration meetings with other job consultants in the area.
You will document your work regularly and write implementation plans and goal follow-ups together with the participant.

Who are you?

You who are applying for the role of job consultant have previous experience working in work rehabilitation efforts with individuals with mental illness and/or addiction. You can drive your own work and find it easy to collaborate with others. You enjoy having a role that involves many different contacts and can create good relationships with employers to create opportunities for your participants.

Requirements:
- You have a university degree in occupational therapy or behavioral science or other education that can be considered equivalent.
- You have experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or addiction.
- You have experience working with work rehabilitation efforts.

Meritorious:
- IPS or SE training
- Worked as a job consultant
- Training in MI
- Training in BIP
- Multilingualism
